2017 ITSM Conference – itSMF Award: Daegu Bank

At the 2017 itSMF Conference, Daegu Bank received the ITSM Grand Award.

Daegu Bank initially implemented its IT Management System (ITMS) in January 2006. Due to system aging, the bank strengthened process interconnectivity based on a Chain Model, integrated related functions, and improved IT work productivity through continuous enhancements. This approach maximized IT operational efficiency and ultimately supported the establishment of an IT service management framework focused on business–customer–service value, enabling ongoing expansion and growth.


Building on ITSM, Daegu Bank integrated all IT operations—including informatization project management, project management, test management, and CDP workforce management—into a comprehensive IT governance system.
