Our company recently successfully launched an ITSM implementation for the Dongwon Group.
Looking ahead, the group plans to expand service management for legal, general affairs, and HR (referred to as LOBSM: Line of Business Service Management) based on our low-code platform to achieve its own digital transformation (DT). This week, five representatives visited our training center to receive education for this initiative.
Dongwon Group’s decision to use our low-code platform for LOB service management DT was likely influenced by the successful launch of ITSM for the entire group within just three months—a project that demonstrated the flexibility and performance of our platform.
Having previously implemented and operated ITSM systems using other vendors’ solutions, they were able to see firsthand how easily and flexibly ITSM can be built on a low-code platform, which reinforced their decision.
Additionally, successful BSM (Business Service Management) cases with Doosan Group and GC Pharma were decisive factors.
So, what strengths does ITSM offer from a DT perspective when built on a low-code platform?
The answer lies in ITSM’s service management framework.
ITSM inherently includes a framework that organizes offline workflows, automates them, enforces controls, and measures process evidence through KPIs within a PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) lifecycle. This embedded structure makes it easy to apply the same framework to other areas, enabling seamless digital transformation across different business domains.
This strength is likely the key reason why ServiceNow, which started with ITSM, grew into one of the world’s leading cloud platform companies by leveraging a low-code approach.
