Hello, this is STEG.

Recently, the 2019 Korea Education Network Association Conference was held in Jeju under the theme “Challengers Create Tomorrow”, and STEG also participated in the event.

The Education Network is part of the Ministry of Education’s university informatization project, led by the Education Network Association at Seoul National University, supporting the operation of an exclusive internet communication network for universities.

To bridge the information gap between universities, 357 universities nationwide (97%) have joined forces under government leadership to jointly purchase internet communication networks. This conference, the largest university informatization event in Korea, serves as a platform for sharing information among university IT professionals.

The purpose of the event is to explore directions for advancing university informatization through understanding government IT policies, broaden understanding of ICT trends among university IT professionals, and seek ways to contribute to national development through university informatization.

STEG operated a booth and delivered a presentation titled “Cloud and ITIL v3-based ITSM”, presented by Min Chang-sun, Head of the Solution Service Division. Previously, we successfully completed the “Reconstruction of Seoul National University’s IT Service Management System” project.
