On June 26, 2019, STEG attended the Samsung Electronics Technology Sharing event organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.

The Technology Sharing initiative aims to promote the public dissemination of technology and foster a culture of mutual growth between large corporations and SMEs by transferring patented technologies held by large enterprises, public institutions, and universities to small and medium-sized businesses free of charge.

Through this event, STEG signed an MOU with Samsung Electronics and received full rights to DRM-related patents. This acquisition is expected to strengthen STEG’s technological competitiveness and provide momentum for the company’s growth.
