On April 7, we participated in the 21st Public Solution Market event held at COEX in Samsung-dong.

The event was conducted under the theme “Public ICT Innovation Strategy for Implementing a Digital Platform Government” and was attended by 800 public sector IT managers and corporate representatives.

STEG’s Team Leader Lee Jung-Je delivered a presentation titled “ITSM: The Compass for Public ITO Operations” and shared the following insights:

He emphasized that ITSM plays a role similar to a compass, providing clear direction for public ITO operations.

He also discussed how SaaS-based ITSM offers a solution to the challenges of implementing ITSM using traditional on-premises methods, enabling easier adoption and operation of ITSM frameworks in public ITO environments.

Lee explained the advantages and benefits of SaaS ITSM adoption and presented cases where applying SLA frameworks improved the quality of public ITO operations, reinforcing the importance of ITSM for operational efficiency.

Furthermore, he highlighted that STEG’s no-code platform-based ITSM solution not only ensures efficiency in ITO operations but also serves as a powerful tool for creating various processes and applications needed by organizations.

Finally, he concluded the presentation with a metaphor: if public institutions’ IT/ITO operations are like a ship navigating the vast ocean, then ITSM is the compass that guides the IT ship.
