AI Innovation and the Dawn of the No-Coding Era

On November 6th, 2023, OpenAI's first developer conference, Dev Day was held in San Francisco. It was a significant conference heralding the start of a new era with remarkable advancements in AI technology. A key highlight of the event was the popularization of personalized GPT chatbot, which can be also called as no-coding solution. GPT-4 Turbo provides twice the number of parameters and twice longer context length to its predecessor. These technological advancements open up the new possibilities for no-coding chatbot development.

Possibility of No-Coding Chatbot Development

GTPs are playing key role in making AI more accessible to users without programming experience. Users can develop customized GPT chatbot without complex coding. Furthermore, OpenAI's Assistants API provides a new method that integrates advanced conversational capabilities with conversational applications. This will facilitate the development of virtual assistants and chatbots in business.

Developing Customized Chatbot with GPTs

GPTs provide features that users can train and create their own chatbots in 'no-coding' or 'low-coding' manner, via key chatbot instructions, high-quality database, and behaviors (e.g., API connections). This process will provide familiar and intuitive user experience.

STEG's Business Opportunities

We can think of two major opportunities considering both E-GENE solution and GPTs together. First, we can implement a customer-tailored CS chatbot GPTs for tasks handled by the in-house service desk (SD). CS automation can reduce work resources while improving customer service efficiency and satisfaction. Second, if we can build specific processes for each customer within GTPs, fixed tasks can be automated via AI-based workflow control. This allows workflow management based on the design criteria. GPTs will also facilitate cooperation and processing, significantly contributing to the improvement of work resources.

Conclusion

The shift in perception by GPTs is that no-coding solution has a remarkable performance potential. This will help lower psychological barrier of potential customers about the entry to no-coding solution. This means that STEG, who focused on no-coding ITSM solution, has a significant business opportunity. If necessary, we can conduct intensive research on GPTs to brand STEG internally and externally or apply it to our own operations.
