Unveiled at "E-GENE Business Platform Developer 25" event at the EL Tower in Yangjae-dong on the 8th of next month.
A technology that integrates fragmented IT workflows, such as chatbot responses and automatic ticket summarization, into a single task will be unveiled.
STEG (CEO Lim Hyeon-gil), an IT service management (ITSM) solution company, announced on the 16th that it will hold a technological seminar titled 'E-GENE™ BUSINESS PLATFORM DEVELOPER 25' to unveil its next-generation business platform on the 8th of next month at the EL Tower in Yangjae-dong, Seoul.
This seminar will introduce the key features and vision of 'E-GENE™,' STEG's platform designed to solve complex IT organizational challenges arising in customer practice more easily, simply, and powerfully.
The highlight of the event is the debut of STEG's "Universal Workflow." Universal Workflow transcends the limitations of existing workflow engines, which only define simple, human-centric work processes. It enables the organic integration of various AI functions, such as AI-based analytics, chatbot responses, and automated ticket summarization, into existing workflows as a single, integrated task.
While previously, various AI functions were introduced in fragmented ways, making it difficult to connect and integrate between systems, Universal Workflow supports natural design of cooperation between AI and humans within a single workflow.
Through this seminar, STEG will present practical demonstrations of how Universal Workflow contributes to automating service request processing, streamlining collaboration, and maximizing operational efficiency, based on industry-specific customer case studies.

“STEG, which has grown with its customers for 17 years, is now embarking on a new journey to connect customer experiences with a technology-centric platform,” said Lim Hyeon-gil, CEO of STEG. “Universal workflow is not simply the introduction of AI, but the core of platform innovation that creates real changes by organically integrating AI with work processes.”
STEG is Korea's first company to offer its proprietary ITSM solution as both on-premise and software-as-a-service (SaaS). With a significant market share, particularly among public institutions and enterprises, STEG is evolving into a global solutions-leading technology company under the slogan "Service Technology Evolution Gene."
