STEG (CEO Lim Hyun-gil), an IT service management company, announced on the 21st that it had been selected as a "2025 Korea Best Job Company" by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
Korea Best Job Company program recognizes companies that have contributed to the creation of quality jobs. Each year, 100 companies are selected, regardless of size. STEG was recognized for its outstanding job creation and significant expansion of youth employment.
STEG, which had only five employees when it was founded in 2008, now has over 140 employees. In particular, over the past two years, it has recruited outstanding young talent, creating a virtuous cycle that has led to enhanced R&D and business expansion. Despite rapid growth, with a 31% year-on-year increase in employee headcount in 2024, STEG has maintained 100% full-time employment, ensuring job security.
STEG's continuing growth and job creation are driven by its technological prowess. Through consistent research and development, the company has successfully implemented Korea's only no-code IT service management (ITSM) solution. STEG's E-GENE™ ITSM solution supports the convenient integration of disparate business processes, and its intuitive UI facilitates easy operation, management, and integration. Customers prioritizing user convenience quickly recognized this solution. By consistently securing clients in the conservative public and financial sectors, STEG has surpassed 70% of the domestic market share. It is also encouraging that the company has reduced Korean reliance on imported products and clearly demonstrated the potential of domestic solutions.
STEG's active use of relevant programs to promote youth employment is also noteworthy. This year alone, the company has hired over 40 young talents through the Ministry of Employment and Labor's "Job Wednesday Day" program and the Korea Information Education Institute's recruitment linkage program. In addition, it is making multifaceted efforts to create jobs for young people, including programs such as the industry-academia integrated apprenticeship program and the school-linked technical training program "P-TECH."
STEG CEO Lim Hyun-gil said, "I am deeply proud that our efforts to strengthen the link between jobs and growth have been recognized. We will continue to demonstrate the advancement of ITSM with talented individuals."
